Air is a new site-specific architectural intervention, built for The Breathing Project at the Living Gallery.

Zac Hacmon displaced a lobby pillar of an office building in the gallery space. An interview with Hernando Restrepo emanates from the air vent screen of the sculpture, Hernando serves as an essential worker as a doorman at the Museum Tower in Midtown Manhattan, he worked throughout the outbreak in 2020 until today. This project creates a hybrid of a personal story and the built environment, between Hacmon's institutional regulated structure to Hernando's experience both as a doorman and as an artist
