Cities of Peace

Over the course of twelve years, in collaboration with students, scholars, and artists from more than 52 countries, CITIES OF PEACE ILLUMINATED has created 12 paintings honoring 12 cities worldwide: Yerevan, Sarajevo, Monrovia, Lhasa, New York, Kabul, Baghdad, Hiroshima, Beijing, and Jerusalem, Pristina and the newest work “Turnings: Sparking Light” in honor of the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz

Works devoted to Aleppo, Beirut, Berlin, Bujumbura, Geneva, Johannesburg, Mogadishu, Mumbai, Nürnberg, Phnom Penh, Vienna, Tbilisi, and other cities will continue the Cities of Peace Illuminated project.
